The Indiana Department of Transportation has begun placing
five new signal modernization projects in at five locations in the Seymour
District (which includes Clark and Floyd counties).
During these installations motorists can expect daylight
lane closures. The project consists of new signal heads, cabinets and other
upgrades for those areas. Work will begin Monday morning in Charlestown and
will end in July in Scottsburg. Below are the locations:
Charlestown:
State Road 3 at Clark Road Street, State Road 3 at Denham Lake and Park Street
and State Road 3 at State Road 62.
Sellersburg: U.S.
31 at Utica Street.
Scottsburg: State
Road 56 at Main.
Motorists should follow posted work zone speed limits, use
caution and consider working safety when traveling in a work zone. For more
