TARC Accessibilty Council Seeks New Members

The TARC Accessibility Advisory Council, formerly known as the TARC Elderly and Disabled Advisory Council, is seeking new members. The deadline to apply is is Jan. 17, 2013.

The council’s mission is to review and advise TARC on all issues, plans and programs for public transportation services in regards to the accessibility needs of our community and in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
The council is made up of 18 individuals representing citizens in the Metro Louisville area who have accessibility needs due to life-function impairments.  The council members are selected to convey the needs of individuals with functional limitations and also include representatives from local and government agencies who represent them.
