Closures on southbound I-71, Hite Lane at KY22 and KY393

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 5 Office has announced the following closures:

• Right lane on southbound Interstate 71 in Louisville approaching the ramp to southbound Interstate 65. The lane closure is scheduled for tonight (August 2nd) from 6:30 p.m. until midnight. KYTC crews will be performing bridge deck patching on the Witherspoon Street overpass.
• Closure of Hitt Lane at KY 22 as part of the KY 22 widening project in Jefferson County. Hitt Lane will be closed to through traffic at the intersection with KY 22 to allow for installation of sewers and drainage structures. This intersection is scheduled to close at 9:00 a.m. on Monday (August 6th) and will reopen by 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 12th. Motorists should follow the signed detour via Haunz Lane.
• Closure of KY 393 near KY 146 in Oldham County (mile point 5.1).  This roadway will be closed from 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 8^th until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 10^th.  CSX Railroad will be making repairs to their crossing on KY 393 near Buckner (see red X on map below).
