The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announces installation of a new traffic signal installed at the intersection of KY 913 (Blankenbaker Parkway) and KY 913C (Blankenbaker Access Drive). This signal is currently in place and will be activated later this week once access to power is supplied.
The signal also provides access for the side street approach from Franconia Court. Pedestrian signals are included on the southern crossing of Blankenbaker Parkway. This pedestrian crossing connects the two sidewalks added as part of the Blankenbaker Parkway Extension project which was completed in 2011.
The actual starting date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
